OUR CORNISH CHICKEN

We raise Cornish Chicken on our farm seasonally and it is typically a customer favorite! Have you ever had our farm raised chicken?

• The chicks are shipped and arrive on our farm the day after they hatch.

• We raise them in our clean chick brooders under heat lamps to monitor feed intake and growth.

• We then move them outside to the chicken tractor between two and three weeks of age (depending on weather) where they gain access to grass and insects and get to soak up all of that Vitamin D! They still have access to their grain to ensure the protein and nutrients that these guys need to grow.

• The tractor is moved daily to offer fresh new grass for foraging and clean bedding.

• Our chicken is then processed at around 8 weeks at a USDA inspected facility.
